MG Ramirez-Ocando is a Venezuelan living in Switzerland since 2015. She first came to Europe in 2009 to a pursue a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in England, where she met her husband, a Swiss German who would eventually convince her to settle down in Switzerland (but only after spending a couple of years in France). She has extensive experience in academic research writing, along with an aptitude for journalistic style and a passion for storytelling.
